Two wanted rape suspects arrested in Bataan police operations

Two suspects wanted for rape were arrested in separate police operations conducted by the Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) on 3 November 2025, in Mariveles and Dinalupihan.

According to Provincial Director Police Col. Marites A. Salvadora, personnel of the Mariveles Municipal Police Station (MPS) Tracker Team arrested a 22-year-old suspect at around 3:35 p.m. in Barangay Camaya, by virtue of a warrant of arrest. The suspect was listed as the Top 4 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) for two counts of Statutory Rape, with no bail recommended.

Meanwhile, at around 3:52 p.m. on the same day, operatives of the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station (MPS) apprehended a 30-year-old suspect in Barangay San Ramon, also by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape, likewise with no bail recommended.

Col. Salvadora reiterated her directive for all unit chiefs to show no leniency and ensure the swift arrest of offenders involved in heinous crimes.

“She emphasized that the Bataan Police remains resilient in our commitment to track down, arrest, and ensure the prosecution of these offenders,” the BPPO said in a statement.
