GUAGUA, Pampanga — Mike Ronnel Diwa Castro, an alumnus of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), now Pampanga State University, achieved the highest score in the recent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination.
Castro, a native of Lubao town, garnered an impressive 91.83 percent, emerging as one of only 60 successful examinees out of 10,171 who took the exam nationwide.
Adding to the province’s pride, Lanz Andre Aragon America, also a DHVSU graduate from Guagua, secured the seventh spot with a score of 89.83 percent. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results, recognizing the exceptional performance of these Kapampangan achievers.
Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda congratulated Castro and America in a Facebook post, commending their academic excellence and contribution to the province’s growing reputation for producing top professionals.
“We celebrate your victory and wish you a prosperous journey ahead!” Pineda said.
