The Filinvest Group earned four prestigious Stevie Awards at the 2025 International Business Awards (IBA) held in New York on September 16, recognizing its excellence in leadership development, talent acquisition, and sustained efforts to build high-performing, purpose-driven teams.

The recognition comes as Filinvest marks its 70th anniversary, celebrating seven decades of growth across its diversified portfolio in real estate, banking, power, hospitality, and agribusiness. The awards were received by Venus A. Mejia, Chief Operating Officer of Filinvest Land, Inc., and Bing D. Paraguas, First Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC).

“These awards affirm our people-first philosophy,” said a company representative. “At Filinvest, enabling dreams extends beyond our communities—it’s also about empowering our employees to grow, innovate, and lead with purpose.”

The Stevie Awards, established in 2002, are among the world’s most respected business honors, recognizing outstanding achievements and workplace excellence across organizations globally. The International Business Awards program, in particular, attracts entries from over 60 countries each year, celebrating innovation, leadership, and performance across industries.

As one of the Philippines’ leading conglomerates, Filinvest Development Corp. continues to strengthen its reputation as a dependable partner in economic development through its diversified businesses in real estate, finance, power generation, hospitality, and sugar production.
