Having learned from her past relationships, Kyline Alcantara shared that her priorities have evolved — what matters most now is a man’s character.
“I really look at personality. I hope he’s more mature, more mentally stable, kind — someone who will respect my family and respect me, not just as a woman, but as a person,” she said.
The young actress opened up about her renewed outlook on love in a heartfelt conversation on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, where she revealed that she’s choosing to embrace love without fear.
When asked if she’s ready to fall in love again, Kyline answered with confidence and grace.
“Sabi ko nga po sa last interview natin, ("As I said in our last interview,") Tito Boy, I will never ever give up on love. Never,” she said firmly.
“I’m not afraid to feel every emotion that God will allow me to experience in this life because it’s gonna make me feel human.”
Despite her maturity and self-awareness, Kyline’s sense of humor still shines through. When Tito Boy teased her about whether wealth would be a plus in a future partner, she laughed and quipped:
“Puwede ho. Puwede. Why not?”
("Sure, sure. Why not?")
But she quickly clarified, “Of course, that’s not the first thing I consider when entering a relationship.”
Kyline, who previously dated basketball player Kobe Paras and fellow Sparkle artist Mavy Legaspi, is not closing her heart to love. Instead, she’s embracing it with more wisdom and strength — seeing every heartbreak as a lesson, and every emotion as proof that she’s alive and capable of loving again.
Because for Kyline Alcantara, love — no matter how risky or painful — will always be worth believing in.
