Police operations in the Metro south led to two drug seizures on 31 October, including the arrest of a Nigerian national tagged as a high-value individual, the Southern Police District (SPD) reported Saturday.

According to the SPD, the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit nabbed the Nigerian suspect identified as 32-year-old alias “Menet” during a buy-bust operation at around 10 p.m. at Kassel Residences, Barangay Moonwalk.

“Menet,” a resident in the area, was caught allegedly selling suspected shabu to an undercover authority.

Seized from the suspect were four sachets with around 20 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P136,000.

He faces charges for the sale and possession of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In a separate operation the same evening, the Muntinlupa City SDEU arrested 35-year-old alias “Pipoy” in a search warrant operation at Purok 2, Barangay Sucat at around six in the evening.
