The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office conducted random drug testing and K9 sweeping operations at Dau Terminal, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, on 27 October 2025, in preparation for the observance of Undas.

According to PDEA Provincial Officer IA V Mark Anthony M. Viray, the operation was undertaken in coordination with the Plans and Operations Division headed by IA V Blessie Talavero and the Clark Airport Interdiction Unit led by IO II Danica Laplana.

The activity was supported by Mabalacat City Mayor Gerald Aquino and PLTCOL Efren David, chief of the Mabalacat City Police Station, who both expressed their commitment to the government’s anti-drug campaign and the advocacy for safe, drug-free communities.

The operation aimed to ensure a drug-free environment among commuters, terminal personnel, and public transport drivers, especially with the expected influx of travelers for the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day observance.

Random drug testing was administered to selected public utility vehicle drivers and conductors, while the K9 team conducted sweeps and inspections of terminal premises and baggage areas for possible illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

“The activity was properly coordinated with local authorities and terminal management to ensure smooth implementation. No untoward incident was reported during the course of the operation,” Viray said.
