CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police operatives across the province dismantled multiple drug networks in a series of coordinated raids on 28–29 October 2025, seizing over P167,000 worth of shabu and arresting five suspects, authorities announced.

Leading the crackdown, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) chief PCol Heryl Bruno reported that the largest haul came from Cabanatuan City, where undercover agents arrested a 46-year-old alleged high-value dealer in Barangay Daang Sarile. Confiscated from the suspect were approximately 20.1 grams of shabu worth P136,680.

Simultaneously, Aliaga Police Station operatives collared another suspect in a separate sting, while Gapan City Police teams nabbed three more individuals in their jurisdiction. Combined, the operations yielded an additional 4.5 grams of shabu valued at P30,600.

All suspects face charges under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), with evidence processed to bolster cases against local drug supply chains.

“These arrests are a critical blow to narcotics distribution in our communities,” said PCOL Bruno, vowing to escalate efforts to dismantle drug rings. He urged residents to report suspicious activities, emphasizing, “Every tip strengthens our resolve to protect Nueva Ecija’s families.”

The operations align with PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr.’s mandate for intensified anti-crime campaigns across Central Luzon.
