The Southern Police District (SPD)  has rolled out its security plan for an orderly observance of the upcoming Undas 2025, with nearly 1,000 deployed in the South Metro

SPD on Tuesday said it has deployed 968 police personnel across major cemeteries, transport terminals, and other areas within its seven jurisdictions Makati, Taguig, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas and Pateros.

Of the total deployment, 691 officers were designated to cemeteries and columbaria, 162 to public convergence areas including malls, parks, and churches, and 115 to transportation terminals such as bus stations, MRT and LRT platforms, and airport facilities.

An additional 449 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, and local governments and 3,474 civilian forces were also deployed for traffic management, crowd control, and emergency response to further support police deployment.

Acting Southern Police District Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo reminded the public to be vigilant and cooperative during the observance. He also urged visitors to follow protocols and to report any suspicious activities to authorities.
