Manila’s Dangwa Flower Market along Laon-Laan Street in Sampaloc has seen significant price adjustments as All Souls’ Day draws near.
Notable changes include (prices vary):
Roses increased from P250–P400 to P350–P450 per dozen.
Malaysian Mums rose from P180–P300 to P220–P250 per bundle.
Asters went up from P150–P250 per bundle to P300 per kilo.
Sunflowers remained steady at P200 each.
Tulips became slightly cheaper, from P900–P1,500 per 10 stems to P100 each.
Orchids increased from around P450 to P550–P600 per bundle.
Radus dropped from P250–P400 to P100–P250 per bundle due to oversupply.
Overall, flower prices at Dangwa have risen by an average of 10–15% compared to their usual rates earlier this year, with Asters showing the highest jump of 40–50 percent driven by Undas demand. Meanwhile, Radus remains the most affordable option this season, with prices falling by 20–30 percent.
