Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched a new Cebu-Calbayog route, enhancing air connectivity across the Visayas region.
The inaugural flight from Cebu landed at Calbayog Airport on Sunday, 26 October, at around 8:42 a.m. and departed back to Cebu at 9:20 a.m., according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
PAL will operate the route four times a week — every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday — as part of its efforts to strengthen regional travel and support local economic activities.
CAAP Director General Raul del Rosario said the route aims to make travel more accessible, promote tourism, and help boost business growth.
The Cebu-Calbayog route is expected to improve mobility and contribute to ongoing initiatives to enhance inter-island transport and regional development.
