Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling on Saturday proudly declared that the first government-initiated National Housing Expo 2025 was a huge success, marking a strong show of confidence in the housing and real estate sector under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Aliling said the two-day expo concluded Friday after gathering more than 50 of the country’s top private developers and attracting about 20,000 prospective homebuyers.
Held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, the event drew thousands of homebuyers and featured the country’s leading developers — signaling renewed confidence in the administration’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
President Marcos Jr. personally led the opening ceremony, reaffirming his commitment to providing dignified and affordable housing for Filipino families.
More than 100,000 brand-new housing units and 30,000 acquired assets from the Pag-IBIG Fund were made available to potential buyers, while attendees also availed of on-site consultations, housing loan assessments, and assistance from DHSUD and key shelter agencies.
Organized by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), the Expo also showcased innovative housing technologies, model units, and community mortgage programs. It served as the highlight of the National Shelter Month 2025 celebration, with simultaneous fairs held in Cebu, Pampanga, Iloilo, Bacolod, Batangas, and General Santos.
“This initiative reflects the vibrancy and resilience of the housing industry, and the collective commitment to realize the vision of a livable, inclusive, and sustainable Philippines,” Aliling said.
