CAMP BGEN. EFIGENIO NAVARRO, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — The Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, led by BGen. Jovencio S. Badua Jr., warned that there is no room for wanted criminals in the region as 16 more individuals were arrested in separate law enforcement operations on Thursday, 23 October 2025.
According to police reports received by Badua, the seven most wanted persons apprehended were alias “Jayboy” (23), alias “Jefferson” (26), alias “Ronie” (43), alias “Aries” (22), alias “Eduardo” (64), alias “Raul” (18), and alias “Christian” (24).
“Jayboy,” ranked as Romblon’s top three most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Sablayan, Romblon, by joint elements of the Romblon Municipal Police Station and Romblon PPO PIU, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 19 (Family Court) in Romblon, for the non-bailable crime of qualified rape of a minor and sexual assault under Art. 266-A (2) of the RPC as amended by RA 8353 in relation to Sec. 5(B) of RA 7610.
“Jefferson” (ranked 5), “Ronie” (ranked 9), and “Aries,” listed among Romblon’s most wanted, were apprehended in Brgy. Poblacion, Ferrol, Romblon, by joint elements of the Ferrol Municipal Police Station and Romblon PPO PIU, under a Regional Trial Court, Branch 82 warrant from Odiongan, Romblon, for violations of Art. 266-A (1)(D) as amended by RA 11648 (three counts), with no bail recommended.
“Eduardo,” ranked Palawan’s sixth most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Pulot Shore, Sofronio Española, Palawan, through the efforts of the Sofronio Española Municipal Police Station, Palawan PPO PIU, 1st PMFC, and Taytay MPS, based on a Regional Trial Court, Branch 14 warrant in Taytay, Palawan, for non-bailable rape under Art. 266-A of the Revised Penal Code.
“Raul,” Romblon’s eighth most wanted, voluntarily surrendered at Romblon Municipal Police Station in Brgy. II-Poblacion, Romblon, under a Family Court, Branch 19 warrant, for statutory rape under Art. 266-A (1)(D) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by RA 8353 and RA 11648.
“Christian,” San Andres’ top most wanted, was apprehended in Brgy. Balogo, Calatrava, Romblon, by the Calatrava Municipal Police Station, under a Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 82 warrant from Odiongan, Romblon, for attempted parricide, with bail set at P120,000.
The remaining nine arrested individuals include alias “Juvy” (22), alias “Marieta” (59), and alias “Vanessa” (34) for violations of PD 1602; alias “Aron” (20) for reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries and property damage; alias “Erwin” (45) for violations of the Cockfighting Law (PD 449 as amended by PD 1602); alias “Ace” (30) for acts of lasciviousness (RPC, Art. 366); alias “Benito” (82) for sexual assault under Sec. 5(B) of RA 7610; alias “Clifford” (41) for violations of City Ordinance No. 944, Sec. 6(A); and alias “Peter” (36) for estafa (three counts).
All arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts, Badua added.
