Digital publishing platform Our Market launched its OMG! Campus Tour with a chocolate-making demonstration at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde on 17 October.
Our Market focuses on stories with “real value and information with lasting credibility,” covering business, food, health, lifestyle, culture, and learning. The platform aims to serve readers of all ages who value facts alongside entertainment and motivation.
Since its launch in September 2020, Our Market has operated as a storefront for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the e-commerce site Iskaparate.com. It now officially transitions into an online magazine, becoming the platform’s main site.
The publication shifts its priorities toward delivering factual and inspirational content grounded in local knowledge to uplift communities culturally and entrepreneurially.
Our Market also functions as an online resource hub connecting users to companies across various industries, including partners such as Unox, Mayani, and Magna Prime, which provide consultancy and collaboration opportunities.
Though evolving its focus, Our Market continues to support commerce. Iskaparate.com, originally created to help entrepreneurial mothers sustain businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, remains its e-commerce umbrella.
With over 3,000 vetted vendors and partnerships led by DTC Promos Inc. and powered by ConnectSys automation, Our Market maintains its commitment to community sellers while seeking growth through collaborations with global brands.
The platform engages audiences and sellers through product deals, brand promotions, and physical and virtual workshops.
The OMG! Campus Tour is a collaboration with Tagumpay IT’S ALL GOOD, a digital media channel promoting Filipino values, education, wellness, and public service, alongside partners Unox, Selecta, Barilla, Tulip, Search Commercial Inc., Mayani, Mo & Bear, and Nayong Kalikasan.
The chocolate-making demo featured CMV Txokolat’s chocolatier Elaine Santiago, hosted in partnership with DTC Promos Inc. and previous collaborators.
A surprise product introduction at the event was Pili Poppers, a co-developed superfood snack made with seaweed, puff rice, and activated roasted pili nuts. Developed in Singapore by Unicorn Connect Pte Ltd. and manufactured in the Philippines by Azius Ventures Corp., Pili Poppers is being softly launched through sample distributions in select groceries and cafes. The product aims to empower Filipino entrepreneurs and showcase local produce.
The demo aimed to encourage students interested in entrepreneurship or family business succession to recognize the value of raw materials and transform them into unique products.
The event coincided with the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Export and Global Business Management program under the Business Administration department at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The program prepares students to develop business plans and bring Filipino products to the global market through integrated knowledge in finance, marketing, management, IT, and strategic planning.
More than 400 students attended the event at the Augusto Rosario Gonzalez Theater, where the chocolate-making was projected live and executed with support from Unox Philippines, known for oven innovation and design.
Ten institutions are scheduled for the OMG! Campus Tour, which will continue through or beyond the platform’s official grand launch in May 2026.
