Sexy actress Cristine Reyes is 36 years old, according to website Wikipedia, but believe it or not, the age of her new boyfriend Gio Tingson, reported to be a lawyer who heads Public Affairs of Grab Philippines, is not publicly known.
Oh, yes, Reyes now joyfully admits she and Tingson are in a relationship. She made the admission to some lifestyle-showbiz journos and vloggers just a few days ago. The event was at the launch of the book Here & Now: Moment to Moment by the life coach Pia Acevedo at Shangri-La hotel at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City.
Reyes assured the journos she is “very happy” with her love life these days.
“Super happy, and it’s different when you know you’re with the right person in your life,” she blurted out to the journos and the vloggers.
She quickly added, though: “Okay na iyan.” Meaning, that’s all the youthful sultry actress was willing to share about her latest romance.
We’re bothering with Tingson’s age because Reyes’ last well-known boyfriend, sexy actor Marco Gumabao, was five years younger than she is. They seem to have broken up a few months after the May 2025 elections in which Gumabao ran to be a congressman in Camarines Sur but lost despite Reyes’ having campaigned for him.
By July 2025, Reyes had began to be seen on social media postings with Tingson. She joined Tingson’s family and friends for a vacation in Vietnam. Well, Tingson somehow looks younger than Reyes, though despite being a public figure himself, Tingson’s age does not appear in the Internet features about him.
Tingson is a public figure as he had been commissioner and head of the government agency National Youth Commission from 2011 to 2016. He was the chief political officer for Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino from 2016 to 2018
From 2018 to 2022, Tingson was the chairperson of the Akbayan Citizens’ Action Party.
So we thought of asking Google’s AI about Tingson’s age. The AI sweetly tackled how to determine his age based on his school graduation records. Google’s AI calculates Tingson’s age to be 37.

Tingson has a Law degree from Arellano University. He has been heading the Public Affairs and Government Relations department at Grab since September 2024.
He had experience as an associate lawyer at the BTTCE Law Office from 2019 to 2021.
Education
Reyes must be aware that she looks pleasing and identifiable as an actress even when she is not wearing makeup. She turned up ungreased and unpainted at the Trillion Peso rally on 21 September at EDSA Revolution Park in Ortigas with Tingson whose height is almost that of a basketball player.
She’s a single mother to a daughter who is now nine years old. Her ex-husband is the Filipino-Iranian Ali Khatibi whom she married in 2016, separated from in 2019, and annulled by 2023.
Reyes is still known to be managed by Viva Artists Agency (VAA). And so is Gumabao. Both may have advised VAA not to cast them in bold roles anymore even as both still have well- shaped bodies. Reyes would rather do guesting in some events abroad for days or weeks rather than do practically sleazy roles publicized as “daring,” “trend-setting,” or “shocking.”
Gumabao has long gone back to living somewhere in Metro Manila. He posts on his Instagram a lot of photos of himself running in Makati and QC. All fully-clothed pics.
He has several pics in some skin clinics and VAA seems to have recently as endorser of one clinic which is not fond of launch pictorial for their endorsers.
Showbiz idols in love with each other or with non-showbiz guys and dolls have realized that the less they exposed their beginning or sizzling relationship, the safer the relationship becomes, the better its chance to last happily for years.
Daniel Padilla charmingly shuts up inquisitions (!) about his budding romance with Kaila Estrada. Kathryn Bernardo doesn’t make herself available to journos and vloggers about her suspected romance with the Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala. And neither of them posts anything about themselves and about each other.
Only Janella Salvador and Klea Pineda are hot about being seen clambering on each other. So let’s see how long the sizzle will last.
