Four SLPAs receive livelihood assistance to boost vulnerable communities in Aurora

Four Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) received livelihood assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 to boost the vulnerable communities in the Province of Aurora.

According to DSWD Field Office 3, the said project is part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s thrust to establish a peaceful and healthy community.

The Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) under the Sustainable Livelihood Program has provided livelihood assistance to the Pingit Store SLPA worth P360,000, and the Dilod SP SLPA worth P300,000 from the town of Baler, Aurora.

Thru the guidance of the DSWD Field Office 3, the SLP created the project Rice Retailing and Basic Commodities businesses of the two associations.

In the town of Dipaculao, the Sama-Sama Sa Kaunlaran SLPA received P300,000.00 and has established the Agri Mix Supplies business. The program has granted P300,000 to the Gintong Tanawin SLPA from the town of Dinadiawan, wherein the association formed the wet market and rice retailing business.

The successful businesses of the four association is due to the active delivery of technical assistance and capacity building interventions of the SWAD SLP Aurora.
