Fetish-fueled fallout

An assistant secretary (Asec.) in a high-profile agency has resigned after his personal secret was revealed. His gender identity, previously undisclosed, has become public knowledge after colleagues began talking about it within the agency.

According to sources, the mid-level official also served as chief of staff to a Cabinet member. He was known as a well-groomed, personable professional who was popular among employees in the department.

The situation reportedly surfaced after an informal gathering among staff members. During the conversation, one of the attendees revealed that the Asec. had hosted a private party at an exclusive bar attended by several members of the LGBTQ+ community, including business figures and professionals.

The event reportedly involved BDSM-themed activities. BDSM stands for bondage, discipline (or domination), sadism, and masochism — a consensual sexual practice involving elements of power exchange.

Sources said this was not the first time such a gathering had been organized, suggesting it was part of a regular private circle of acquaintances.

One source said the Asec. decided to step down not only because of the gossip but also due to fatigue from living a double life. “He’s tired of the charade, of constantly pretending,” the source said.

The department has yet to issue an official statement on the resignation, a plot twist straight out of an afternoon soap opera.
