Angeles City, Pampanga – The animal rescue team from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and the City Veterinary Office (CVO) rescued two snakes in two separate areas in this city on 13 August 2025.
According to the Angeles CENRO, the two snakes were reported in the barangays of Lourdes Sur and Sto. Rosario, adding that the team successfully extracted the reported snakes in the areas.
CENRO cited that during rainy days, snakes may emerge from their usual habitats. To prevent them from finding hiding spots, communities should keep their surroundings clean.
“In case of snake encounters, residents are advised to report these at once to their barangay officials,” CENRO cited.
One reticulated phyton was taken at Lourdes Sur and one rat snake at Sto. Rosario.
Both were immediately turned over to Denr Region III, Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
