Phenomenal star Regine Velasquez-Alcasid responded to a fan who was allegedly pushed during the post-concert meet-and-greet.
In an X post, Asia’s Songbird addressed the issue. “I also want to correct her, that my sister Diane didn’t push you or said kayo ba magbabayad sa venue, it was the other girl who actually said that. I know kasi halos sa tenga ko sinabi yun. Madaming tao dun,” she said.
The singer added that everyone was reminded to limit themselves to one picture as it was already late. “But you insisted to have a selfie. Also my sister's hand was on my shoulder that she removed so you can do a selfie,” she clarified.
Regine said she has video proof of what really transpired during the incident. She further stated that her sister was just trying to keep her safe.
On the other hand, the star thanked her supporters for watching the concert and acknowledged that fans just wanted to make every meeting meaningful. “Unfortunately hindi ganon lagi kasi wala tayong oras. Hindi rin ako robot na hindi marunong mapagod,” she stated.
Regine also clarified that she is not angry but was disappointed.
The concert, titled Super Divas, in collaboration with star comedian Vice Ganda, was held at Smart Araneta Coliseum on 8 and 9 August.
