SM Supermalls celebrated young Filipino talent in the 16th edition of SM Little Stars, culminating in a vibrant Grand Finals on 9 August at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. This year’s nationwide search embraced inclusivity with gender-neutral categories and a wider range of performances, highlighting the diversity of skills among the country’s most promising children.
After nationwide screenings in 67 SM malls, 30 finalists emerged to compete in three unisex categories: singing, dancing, and a newly introduced special talent division. The latter opened the stage to an eclectic mix of acts, from beatboxing and painting to gymnastics, magic, and ventriloquism.
Xian Echo Y. Zamora of SM City Cabanatuan was named the Grand Winner, taking home an extensive prize package that included P100,000 in cash and SM Gift Certificates, P30,000 in Toy Kingdom Gift Cards, P25,000 in SM Kids Fashion Gift Certificates, a Suzuki Dzire GL MT, a full scholarship from National University, a talent management contract with Sparkle – GMA Artist Center, a trip to Korea for two, and various leisure and travel perks.
Judges for the event included singer Sam Concepcion, director Antoinette Jadaone, National University Pep Squad coach Gab Bajacan, Miss Universe 2025 first runner-up Winwyn Marquez, and SM Little Stars 2017 Grand Winner Gaea Mischa.
SM Little Stars has served as a launchpad for many successful performers, including Esang de Torres, Marcus Cabais, Elisia Parmisano, and Sheena Bentoy, whose careers span local theater, K-pop, and television.
