'Family Feud' marks 800th episode with the TGIS Barkada

The award-winning game show Family Feud is celebrating its 800th episode on 15 August with a heartwarming reunion of one of the most iconic barkadas in Philippine TV history.

In this special offering, the studio lights up with nostalgia, as the cast of the 1990s youth-oriented Kapuso series T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Sabado) returns for a barkadahan showdown.

Representing the original batch is Team TGIS, composed of Michael Flores, Ciara Sotto, Bernadette Allyson and Maybelyn Dela Cruz. Opposing them are the next-generation TGIS stars, known as the ‘90s Teen Barkada: Kim De Los Santos, Polo Ravales, Maui Taylor and Chico Ventosa.

As fans cheer for their favorites, the episode also serves as a touching tribute to the late Red Sternberg, one of the show’s well-loved cast members.

Family Feud airs Mondays to Fridays at 5:40 p.m. on GMA-7.
