Army awards Excellence Streamer to 91st Infantry Battalion in Central Luzon

Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – The Philippine Army (PA) conferred the Excellence Streamer Award to the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion in recognition of the battalion's exceptional performance and dedication.

During the 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division's 37th Founding Anniversary held here on 5 August 2025, Lieutenant Colonel Aries A. Quinto Infantry (General Staff Course) Philippine Army, Commanding Officer, and Master Sergeant Marlon B Tii, Battalion Sergeant Major accepted the award.

According to the PA, the 91st IB garnered a score of 92.80 percent, underscoring the battalion’s significant contribution to the 7th Infantry Division's success.

“This highlights the courage and skill of the battalion, showing its commitment to duty and unwavering resolve has set a high standard of excellence within the Division,” Quinto said.

Private First Class Jhonathan B Callueng 957872 (Infantry) Philippine Army also received the Gawad sa Kaunlaran for his invaluable contributions to the battalion's community development projects, significantly improving lives and creating lasting positive change. His efforts exemplify the spirit of service and dedication to the people.

The awards celebrate the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion's unwavering commitment to service and excellence.

The achievements of its soldiers reflect their strength and the progress they bring to the region, serving as an inspiration. The 91st IB remains steadfast in its mission to protect and serve the community.
