Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is expanding its support for Filipino entrepreneurs by launching three new official variants of the Next Generation Tamaraw: the Wing Van, Mobile Store, and Food Truck.
Designed to meet the growing demand from micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), the new Tamaraw variants are now available for order at all Toyota dealerships nationwide.
The Tamaraw Wing Van caters to delivery, logistics, and car detailing businesses. It features a spacious cargo area, a durable fiberglass plastic body, three-side wing doors, and lockable side compartments—making it ideal for transporting goods efficiently and securely.
For retail-focused MSMEs, the Tamaraw Mobile Store provides a flexible mobile platform that allows business owners to bring their store anywhere. This variant features aluminum composite panels, a side-opening window with struts, light fixtures, a foldable table, a cabinet windbreaker for extra storage, and rear jackstands for stability.
Meanwhile, entrepreneurs in the food and beverage sector can benefit from the Tamaraw Food Truck, which boasts a kitchen-ready layout. It includes food-grade interiors, a water tank with pump, a wastewater tank, serving windows, modern lighting, and safety jackstands.
All three variants are built on the long wheelbase diesel manual transmission (M/T) Next Generation Tamaraw base and come equipped with an industrial plug and circuit breaker for operating electrical equipment.
Toyota said the introduction of these Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) variants aims to provide MSMEs with reliable, customizable, and readily available business solutions.
“From working with our dealers to interacting with prospective customers, we saw the demand for these variants, resulting in the production of these business vehicles on a regular order scheme rather than indent order,” said TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial. “These conversions further exhibit the Tamaraw’s flexibility, and we are happy to provide more options that fit the needs of Filipino entrepreneurs. With the increased availability, we hope for more Filipino MSMEs to grow their business with the Next Generation Tamaraw—because with the Tamaraw, abante posible.”
To make the vehicles more accessible, TMP is also offering flexible payment plans and affordable insurance packages.
The new Tamaraw variants are priced as follows:
Tamaraw 2.4 Wing Van M/T – P1,450,000
Tamaraw 2.4 Mobile Store M/T – P1,490,000
Tamaraw 2.4 Food Truck M/T – P1,540,000
With 75 Toyota dealerships across the country, customers can conveniently purchase their Tamaraw business units and receive after-sales support including maintenance and expert service.
