Next-gen creatives

The Grant by Fashion Aid Philippines continues to build a platform where Filipino creativity is celebrated and nurtured for a globally competitive design industry.

Fashion Aid Philippines, a non-profit organization that aims to promote the cultural, social and economic consciousness of the public and to assist the new generation of Filipino creatives and its applied arts, recently had an intensive half-day screening held last 30 June at Salcedo Auctions in Makati City for The Grant 2025. From hundreds of applications, a new generation of Filipino creative force across fashion, accessories and object (lifestyle) design was reignited.

These visionaries and emerging designers with the highest scores have been selected as the Top 20. These chosen talents reflect exceptional creativity, high potential and contributions to their respective craft. The list includes: Rio Sandra Barrios, Kristina Leanne Basilio, Jorem Biadoma, Monica Castillo, Angela Chavez, Joshua Chiong, Elijah Contillo, Caesy Coronel, Matthew David, Ivan Cedric Fabia, Kiko Kintanar, Ayra Longsiab, John Jade Montecalvo, Marigrace Reano, Hazel Roldan, King Rosales, Gil Salazar, Michelle Tiu, Deya Tsyna and Lee Villanueva.

With the assistance of Fashion Aid Philippines members and some of the country’s top experts in design and creative fields, the finalists will further develop their creations through the next stage of the competition. This allows the finalists to refine their existing products or create stronger pieces worthy for an exhibition this coming September. The Grant by Fashion Aid Philippines continues to build a platform where Filipino creativity is celebrated and nurtured for a globally competitive design industry.
