As flooding continues to wreak havoc across parts of Luzon and the Visayas, Honda Cars Philippines is stepping in to help affected vehicle owners with some much-needed relief.
Through its “Honda Helps Program,” the company is offering a 30 percent discount on selected spare parts for Honda owners whose cars were damaged by the recent typhoons, “Crising,” “Dante” and “Emong,” and the ongoing onslaught of the southwest monsoon, or habagat.
Many areas have been hit hard, with roads underwater and vehicles stranded or completely submerged. Honda’s program aims to lighten the financial burden on its customers dealing with these difficult circumstances.
The discount covers critical components likely to be damaged by floodwaters. These include the engine control unit (ECU), throttle body, alternator, starter motor, radiator fan motor, and cooling fan motor. Safety systems such as the SRS unit, airbag module, seatbelt pre-tensioner, and fuse box (MICU) are also included, along with parts like the accelerator pedal, electric power steering (EPS), meter assembly, cable reel, and heater control.
The offer is available at all authorized Honda dealerships in Luzon and Visayas from 21 July until 8 August 2025. It’s part of a broader effort by Honda to help owners get their vehicles back on the road safely, and without the crushing cost that usually comes after such disasters.
Owners are encouraged to visit their nearest Honda dealership or check online for more details. As rains continue, drivers are also reminded to avoid driving through floodwaters and, if possible, move their vehicles to higher ground ahead of time.
