Country star Luke Bryan took a cheeky jab at one of the week’s most talked-about scandals during his concert Thursday night, delivering laughs and side-eyes to thousands at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Without naming names, the 49-year-old singer alluded to the now-viral moment between tech executive Byron Cabot — CEO of Astronomer — and his alleged head-of-HR companion, who were caught getting cozy on the kiss cam during a Coldplay concert just a night earlier.
The clip from that concert, held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, made the rounds online after viewers quickly identified the duo and questioned their relationship — particularly since both are reportedly married to other people. What many expected to be a sweet audience moment quickly spiraled into speculation and scandal.
Bryan, known for his charm and wit onstage, didn’t let the moment pass unaddressed.
“We’re gonna shine our cameras on anybody,” he said during a break in his Greenville performance, a moment captured and later uploaded to Instagram. “Who’s here with their secretary tonight? Hey, it’s gotta be someone way up there.”
As laughter rippled through the crowd, Bryan doubled down with a tongue-in-cheek warning: “Do not get caught tonight.”
The singer then transitioned straight into one of his biggest hits, “Strip It Down,” only fueling the playful energy in the room.
