Esnyr answers Fyang with grace, no drama

Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition standout Esnyr Ranollo is choosing to lead with humility and perspective. During a recent guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the viral content creator turned reality TV star addressed a comment made by PBB Gen 11 Big Winner Fyang Smith, who previously remarked—rather publicly—that “wala pa ring makakatalo sa batch namin.”

The statement, which made waves online, sparked questions about rivalry and pride among different PBB seasons. When asked how he felt about it, Esnyr responded with clarity and class:

“Hindi naman po ito competition. Pero feeling ko, Tito Boy, bawat season may iba’t ibang taste. At sa amin po, we can say na unique din po talaga ’yung season namin—at tinangkilik naman po talaga ng mga tao.”

Rather than engaging in debate, Esnyr emphasized the value of diversity and the distinct charm of their batch, which made history as the first-ever collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN under the long-running Pinoy Big Brotherfranchise.

Fellow housemate Charlie Fleming, who was also part of the interview, echoed Esnyr’s sentiments:

“Our season’s different. This is the first GMA and ABS collab, so it’s completely different from what batch they have.”

A season like no other

Indeed, the Celebrity Collab Edition broke boundaries and merged audiences from the country’s two biggest networks—a feat never before attempted in the franchise’s two-decade run. With Sparkle and Star Magic talents living under one roof, the season served as a cultural reset, drawing in longtime fans and new viewers alike.

Esnyr, who finished as 3rd Big Placer, was among the most beloved personalities of the season. Known for his wit, authenticity, and heartwarming friendship with co-housemates including Charlie and Bianca de Vera, Esnyr brought a refreshing presence to the show.

Beyond the walls

For Esnyr, the experience wasn’t about competition—it was about growth, bonding, and breaking barriers.

“Iba-iba man ang batch, we all brought something special to the table. Para sa akin, ang importante ay ‘yung connection na nabuo at ‘yung impact sa mga nanood.”

In a world where many chase the spotlight, Esnyr proves that grace under pressure and the ability to lift others—even amid comparison—is what truly makes a star.

As the PBB: Celebrity Collab housemates continue their journeys beyond the house, their legacy won’t be measured by rivalry, but by the bridges they built—between networks, audiences, and each other.
