President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday unveiled the Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Super App and the eGov PH Serbisyo Hub, marking a significant step in the government’s effort to modernize and simplify the delivery of public services to Filipinos.
Launched at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center, the dual initiative aims to eliminate long queues, reduce corruption, and cut through bureaucratic red tape by offering both digital and physical access points for essential government services.
“Walang pila. Walang fixer. Walang korapsyon. Iyan ang makukuha natin dahil sa eGov app at one-stop shop na ating binuksan ngayon,” President Marcos said in his speech at the launch.
(“No lines. No fixers. No corruption. That’s what we’ll get with the eGov app and the one-stop shop.”)
The eGov PH Super App, developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), consolidates multiple government services into a single mobile and desktop platform. It allows users to file applications, track requests, verify identities and soon make online payments — all without having to go to government offices.
“Basta’t may connectivity, hindi na kailangan pumunta sa poblacion o sa opisina ng ahensiya. You can do all of this online — nasa bahay ka lang,” Marcos said. (“As long as there’s connectivity, one need not go to town or the agency office — you can do it from home.”)
