Several local government units in Metro Manila and nearby provinces have suspended classes on Thursday, 4 July, due to heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Tropical Depression Bising.
According to PAGASA's 5:00 AM advisory, the low-pressure area west of Calayan, Cagayan has developed into Tropical Depression Bising. While the system may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility later today, it continues to bring heavy rains, strong winds, and rough to moderate seas—prompting precautionary measures including class suspensions and localized alerts.

Valenzuela City – Preschool to senior high school (public and private); college (no face-to-face classes)
Dagupan City, Pangasinan – Kindergarten to senior high school (public and private), including ALS
Pozorrubio, Pangasinan – All levels (public and private)
Umingan, Pangasinan – All levels (public and private)
Bauang, La Union – Preschool to elementary (public and private)
Macabebe, Pampanga – Grade school to high school (public and private)
Masantol, Pampanga – All levels (public and private)
Candaba, Pampanga – All levels (public and private), shift to alternative learning modality
Bataan Province – All levels (public and private)
La Paz, Tarlac – All levels (public and private)
Calumpit, Bulacan – All levels (public and private), no face-to-face classes
Cavite Province – Preschool to senior high school (public and private)
Cavite City, Dasmariñas, Imus, Naic, Trece Martires – All levels (public and private), no face-to-face classes
