At Digital Transformation World (DTW) Ignite 2025, Globe Telecom firmly established itself as a frontrunner in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation within the global telecom industry. Held in Copenhagen and organized by TM Forum, the premier event brought together global telecom leaders to explore digital transformation and scalable technologies.

Globe’s chief artificial intelligence officer and chief information security officer Anton Bonifacio took center stage with a keynote titled “Becoming AI & Data Natives.” His presentation spotlighted Globe’s holistic, human-centric AI strategy — one that draws inspiration from the metaphor of a well-run kitchen.

“For Globe, we have a kitchen strategy. It’s going to be a foundation-first approach while we’re trying to get some things out as far as some of these dishes are concerned,” Bonifacio explained, emphasizing the importance of reusability, shared components and responsible governance.

He outlined how Globe is empowering employees with low-code tools, no-code platforms, and immediate access to large language models (LLMs), enabling grassroots innovation across the organization. This inclusive approach, Bonifacio said, is also envisioned for Globe’s customers, allowing them to co-create within the same collaborative AI environment.

Cautioning against fragmented systems and vendor lock-in, Bonifacio stressed the need for interoperability and integrated architecture. His message resonated strongly with attendees navigating similar challenges in their digital journeys.
