Listed property developer Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has launched Casa Mira Homes GenSan, its first solar-integrated residential development, to kick off the start of its long-term push to bring sustainable features to its affordable housing portfolio.
In a stock exchange report on Friday, the company said the project recorded strong demand, with 1,034 units sold, equivalent to 85 percent of total inventory, and P4.3 billion in reservation sales generated within just three days.
“We’re truly grateful for how warmly the GenSan market has embraced this sustainable concept,” CLI Chairman and CEO Jose Soberano III said.
“It reflects how today’s Filipino families are becoming more mindful, not just about owning a home, but about making smarter, greener choices that benefit both their finances and the environment.”
Casa Mira Homes GenSan offers 1,218 single-detached units and townhouses equipped with sustainable features, including large windows for natural light, water-saving fixtures, and rainwater storage tanks.
Select units, such as the Calla and Cora single-detached models, include 2.2 kilowatt-hour (kWh) solar panel systems capable of storing up to 5 kWh of electricity per home, with estimated energy savings ranging from P600 to P3,000 per month. Other models, including townhouses and Cielo units, are solar-ready.
The development allocates 60 percent of the area to open spaces and includes amenities such as a clubhouse, pools, a basketball court, a multi-purpose hall, and landscaped gardens. It is located near major establishments including hospitals, shopping centers, and the University of Sto. Tomas GenSan.
Casa Mira Homes GenSan is the 18th development under the Casa Mira brand, CLI’s flagship housing line.
The developer currently has nearly 130 projects across 17 cities in the Visayas and Mindanao, and recently opened a Makati office as it enters the Luzon market.
