Cristine Reyes in a budding romance with former NYC chief

Alex Brosas

Cristine Reyes seemed to have moved on from her failed relationship with Marco Gumabao, who lost his first bid to become a politician in the 2025 midterm elections.

As of late, social media is abuzz with rumors that Reyes had actually and tenaciously stood from her failed romance.

Now, her budding romance with former National Youth Commission chief Gio Tingson sparked dating buzz when they were spotted together at an event.

Tingson was Senator Bam Aquino's strategist during last May's midterm elections and is now working as Grab Philippines' head of public affairs.

Maris Racal's film wins 2 international awards

Incognito star Maris Racal is on cloud nine as her film, Sunshine, won two awards at the Austin Asian American Film Festival 2025.

Sunshine was given the Narrative Feature Jury Award and Narrative Feature Audience Award.

On both her Instagram and Facebook accounts, Racal was ecstatic about her film's latest achievement.

"2 WINS FOR SUNSHINE at the Austin Asian American Film Festival 2025!!" she initially wrote as a caption in her post.

"’Di pa rin ako makapaniwala (I still can't believe it). A film about dreams and getting this kind of recognition is something I’ve been dreaming of since I was a kid. Thank you so much, AAAFF, for this honor," she added.

Sunshine will be shown 23 July in SM cinemas.

A'TIN eagerly excited for ‘Pagtatag’ documentary in Netflix

This early, A'TIN, the fandom of SB19, is already waiting with bated breath their idols' forthcoming documentary titled Pagtatag, which is streaming on Netflix on 23 July.

The film, directed by Jed Regala, chronicles SB19's historical journey, which started during the era of their Pagtatag EP.

Fans lapped up the announcement of SB19's new achievement.

"Woah, the Highest Grossing Filipino Documentary Film of All Time is now coming to our homes, welcome SB19!"

"I have seen it here in London. I came with a false sense of expectations that it’ll be about their whole journey. That’s why at some point, I felt it was “bitin” when the film ended. I had to rethink and remind myself that it was all about their journey in their PAGTATAG era, marred by the trademark dispute. It’s only then that I understood and appreciated them more as individuals, as brothers and as a solid group of exceptional talent and passion! Hopefully it’ll be available in other countries, as well. Well done SB19 and 1Z ENTERTAINMENT! Keep soaring high and making us all proud!"
