Marco Sison honors Filipino music in ‘Seasons of OPM’ concert

Veteran hitmaker Marco Sison, one of the timeless voices in Original Pilipino Music (OPM), is set to pay tribute to the heart and soul of Filipino music through a major concert titled Seasons of OPM on 25 July at The Theatre at Solaire.

In what he describes as a heartfelt “musical journey,” the concert will spotlight the evolution of Filipino music — from the roots of kundiman to the sweeping ballads of the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and beyond. For Marco, it’s more than a concert — it’s a love letter to OPM, crafted with passion, reverence, and a touch of humor.

“This is my way of giving back to the music that has shaped me,” says Marco. “I hope this inspires a new generation to embrace OPM and help carry it forward.”

With music direction by the legendary Louie Ocampo — who penned one of Marco’s most iconic hits, Si Aida, Si Lorna o Si Fe Seasons of OPM promises a dynamic and emotionally resonant setlist. Audiences can expect a curated mix of genres, styles, and eras that reflect not just Marco’s career, but the collective soundtrack of Filipino lives.

The evening will feature special guest performances and will be directed by Calvin Neria, with production by Echo Jham Entertainment and Toplex Advertising.

Marco’s enduring anthems—Make Believe, Ikaw Lamang, My Love Will See You Through, among others—have long stood the test of time and continue to be rediscovered by new audiences across generations. His most recent digital single, Sabik na Puso, adds a fresh chapter to a storied discography that has defined Filipino romance and resilience.
