Fresh from their journey inside the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition house, Bianca De Vera and Dustin Yu — better known to fans as DustBia — brought real-life kilig to morning television during their recent guesting on Unang Hirit.
Welcomed warmly by the UH Barkada and fans gathered at the GMA Network Center, the beloved former housemates whipped up a comforting bowl of beef pares for the hosts, but it was their undeniable chemistry that truly stole the spotlight.
Asked about the current state of their relationship outside the house, Bianca offered a sweet and sincere response: “Wala namang nagbago. Mag-duo pa rin kami dito sa labas,” she said. “We’re starting over again — getting to know each other outside. And it’s much more comfortable now.”
Dustin echoed the sentiment, highlighting a special moment from their time in Bahay ni Kuya: the paper crane he gave Bianca. “It was my way of assuring her na paglabas namin, andito pa rin ako for her. Hindi ako mawawala,” he shared.
And the feeling runs deep. Dustin still keeps a tangible reminder of their bond: a hair tie Bianca gave him during the final stretch of their PBB journey. “Hirap na hirap kami noon during the endurance challenge. I drew strength from it,” he recalled. “Until now, syempre di ko siya tinatanggal.”
While the two remained tight-lipped about any official projects lined up, Bianca teased that they’re “very, very excited for what’s in store.” In a separate interview with GMA News Online, Dustin reinforced his commitment to keeping their connection strong: “Wala akong nakikitang dahilan para hindi namin ituloy ‘to sa labas.”
Inside the PBB house, DustBia quickly became fan favorites for their candid affection and grounded partnership. Despite being the final pair evicted—losing the Big Jump Challenge to BreKa’s Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca—the duo walked away with their heads held high and a bond that fans continue to root for.
Joining BreKa in the much-anticipated Big Night on 5 July are fellow finalists ChaRes (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr), RaWi (Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon), and AzVer (AZ Martinez and River Joseph).
As for DustBia, the journey may have ended inside Bahay ni Kuya, but outside, it feels like a brand-new beginning.
