The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) rose by 25.55 points or 0.40% to 6,433.82 as of the noon recess on 30 June 2025, buoyed by advances in property and retail stocks.
Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) was the most actively traded stock, gaining 3.49% to P26.70 on over P480 million in value turnover. SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SMPH) added 1.74% to P23.45. DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS), despite strong trading volume, slipped 5.36% to P53.85.
Berjaya Philippines, Inc. (BCOR) led the day’s top gainers with a 17.65% jump to P8.00. MerryMart Consumer Corp. (MM) surged 14.29% to P0.64, while Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. (ELI) advanced 8.93%.
On the losing end, Pacifica Holdings, Inc. (PA) dropped 10.43%, followed by Del Monte Pacific Limited (DELM) down 10.09%, and ABS-CBN Holdings Corp. (ABSP) falling 7.30%.
At midday, the peso traded at P56.57 against the US dollar.
