Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is widening its insurance reach with the addition of Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation and MAAGAP Insurance, Inc. to its Toyota Insure program. The move aims to give Toyota customers more choices when it comes to protecting their vehicles, without complicating the process.
Toyota Insure, launched back in 2015, offers full-coverage car insurance with the promise of easy claims, personal accident coverage, and guaranteed repairs using genuine Toyota parts at official dealerships. It’s part of TMP’s broader Value Chain approach, which includes financing via Toyota Financial Services and vehicle trade-ins through T-Sure.
“This partnership lets us support customers throughout the full life of their Toyota, from the first purchase to the time they trade it in,” said Mike Masamayor, TMP’s First Vice President for Value Chain Operations.
MAAGAP Insurance President and CEO Martin L. Dela Rosa sees the collaboration as a natural fit. “Toyota Insure has built trust by making insurance simple and accessible through dealerships,” he said. “We’re excited to be part of something that truly makes a difference in how Filipinos move and live.”
Pioneer Insurance President and CEO Atty. Betty Medialdea echoed this sentiment, noting that joining forces with Toyota is aligned with their mission to support economic growth and keep motorists protected. “It’s about helping not just Toyota owners, but also supporting transport across the country,” she said.
With Pioneer and MAAGAP now onboard, Toyota Insure is currently partnered with seven insurance firms. The original five, AXA Philippines, Malayan Insurance, People’s General Insurance, Standard Insurance, and Stronghold Insurance, have all contributed to Toyota Insure’s steady growth.
