CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Department of Agriculture in Northern Mindanao (DA-10), through its Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), has officially launched its online Kadiwa marketplace as part of its ongoing effort to modernize agricultural marketing and improve food accessibility.
The launch, which took place Friday, marks the digital expansion of the regular Kadiwa sa DA on-site market, held every Thursday at the DA-10 regional office grounds in Barangay Poblacion.
Accessible via ekadiwada10.com, the platform allows consumers to conveniently purchase fresh, locally sourced agri-fishery products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) across Northern Mindanao.
The online marketplace aims to strengthen market linkages, shorten the supply chain, and provide greater income opportunities for farmers and fisherfolk — while also ensuring that consumers have access to affordable, high-quality local goods.
To further boost convenience, free delivery is available within a 10-kilometer radius of the DA-10 office, scheduled every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Through this digital initiative, DA-10 underscores its commitment to inclusive agri-industrial development, empowering local producers and bringing farm-fresh goods closer to consumers via technology-driven solutions.
