Marcos declares special Holidays in three towns

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday approved the declaration of special non-working days in three towns in Misamis Oriental, Negros Oriental, and Zamboanga Sibugay.

Through Presidential Proclamation No. 945, Marcos declared 1 July a special non-working day in the Municipality of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, in celebration of its founding anniversary.

Presidential Proclamation No. 946 declared 1 July as a special non-working day in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, in observance of its charter anniversary.

Meanwhile, Presidential Proclamation No. 947 declared 28 July a special non-working day in the Municipality of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, to mark the 76th Araw ng Ipil.

The proclamations, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on 23 June, state: “It is but fitting and proper that the people be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.”
