Globe-backed outsourcing firm Asticom Technology Inc. is preparing to expand into the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Australia and New Zealand while accelerating the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline business operations.
“For the last decade, we’ve been proudly serving the domestic market. Now, we’re ready to bring Filipino excellence to the region,” Asticom President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes said on Wednesday, citing interest generated during a recent Australian roadshow featuring Philippine-based tech and business support services.
Asticom operates a proprietary digital platform, NXT, to help small and medium-sized enterprises manage staffing, payroll, IT support, talent screening, and regulatory compliance more efficiently.
“Outsourcing today is no longer just about transactions, it’s about transformation. Our clients are looking for partners that can help them move faster, work smarter, and deliver better results through technology, AI, and scalable solutions,” she said.
She explained that AI is not a threat but an enabler that enhances, rather than replaces, human talent, adding that companies that effectively harness it to complement their workforce will lead the next era of business-to-business service delivery.
As part of its long-term growth plan, Asticom aims to generate 15,000 jobs in the coming years.
Founded in 2015 with five employees, the company now has over 4,000 staff serving more than 40 industries, including fintech, telecom, logistics, and infrastructure.
A member of the Globe Group, it provides services in talent management, employee and customer experience, IT, and engineering outsourcing.
