As GMA Network marks its milestone 75th anniversary, its afternoon slot lineup promises not only deeper stories but also a constellation of big stars headlining its boldest dramas yet.

With powerhouse casts and gripping narratives, the network’s afternoon drama block is raising the stakes and shining a brighter spotlight on some of the industry’s finest talents.

Gabby Concepcion, Kylie Padilla lead ‘My Father’s Wife’

Seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion and leading lady Kylie Padilla bring intensity and emotional depth to My Father’s Wife, premiering today, 23 June.

Concepcion plays Robert, the unsuspecting pawn in a twisted tale of betrayal, while Padilla is Gina, a loyal friend caught in a complicated love triangle.

Joining them are Jak Roberto as Gerald, the man at the center of the chaos, and Kazel Kinouchi as Betsy, whose envy drives her to exact revenge on Gina by manipulating her father. The star-studded cast includes Maureen Larrazabal, Sue Prado, Arlene Muhlach, Andre Paras and a special appearance by screen legend Snooky Serna.

Directed by Aya Topacio, My Father’s Wife airs weekdays at 2:30 p.m., offering a tense, emotional rollercoaster about love, obsession and the scars left by betrayal.

Andrea Torres returns with gripping thriller ‘Akusada’

Making her much-awaited teleserye comeback, Andrea Torres leads Akusada as Carol, a woman haunted by a deadly secret. Opposite her are Benjamin Alves as Wilfred, the man she learns to love while living a lie, and Lianne Valentin as Roni, whose presence threatens to expose everything.

Carol’s journey of survival and reinvention sets the tone for this suspense-laden series, directed by Dominic Zapata. Also featured are Ahron Villena, Arnold Reyes, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, with special appearances by Tonton Gutierrez, Sandy Andolong and Max Collins.

Akusada airs 30 June at 4 p.m.

Vina Morales, Gladys Reyes clash in ‘Cruz vs. Cruz’

Two powerhouse actresses, Vina Morales and Gladys Reyes, face off in Cruz vs. Cruz, a riveting family drama about love, betrayal, and the cost of forgiveness.

Morales plays Felma, a devoted mother fighting to hold her family together, while Reyes delivers a fiery performance as Hazel, the woman who disrupts their peace.

Rounding out the cast are Neil Ryan Sese as Manuel, Kristoffer Martin, Lexi Gonzales, Elijah Alejo and Pancho Magno, with direction by Gil Tejada Jr.

GMA Network’s 75th year celebration is a testament to its enduring legacy of quality storytelling and star-studded programming. And with My Father’s Wife, Akusada and Cruz vs. Cruz taking center stage, the GMA Afternoon Prime block is shaping up to be a showcase of unforgettable performances and compelling drama.
