CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — For the second straight time, the Bataan Police Provincial Office (PPO), led by Colonel Marites Salvadora, has emerged as the top-performing police unit in Central Luzon for April and May 2025.

According to the latest Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) conducted by the PNP regional headquarters, Bataan PPO once again clinched the No. 1 spot among the nine provincial police offices in the region.

Securing the top rank for two consecutive months is no small feat — a rare achievement that reflects the commitment of Bataan PPO under the leadership of Salvadora to deliver excellent, professional, and community-centered service.

Behind this back-to-back recognition is the tireless work of Bataan’s police force — both men and women — in ensuring peace and order while staying actively engaged in community programs and initiatives. Their dedication has been widely praised and serves as an example to others.

This milestone also highlights the teamwork, discipline, and leadership of the entire Bataan PPO — from police commissioned officers to non-commissioned personnel and civilian staff.

For the people of Bataan, this achievement is a point of pride. Known as one of the country’s “Most Business-Friendly Provinces,” Bataan continues to show that progress and peace go hand in hand.

The UPER is a standardized system used by the PNP to regularly assess police unit performance in areas such as operations, administration, community work, and overall service quality. It aims to foster a culture of excellence across the police force by recognizing outstanding performers and identifying areas for improvement.

With two consecutive months at the top, Bataan PPO is showing the rest of the region how it’s done.
