Filipino K-pop fans are in for a treat this June as the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) and Seoul Shinmun, in partnership with the Korea Copyright Protection Agency-Manila Office (KCOPA), Philippine K-pop Convention Inc. (PKCI), and Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, bring “Everyone’s KPOP Manila 2025” to life.
The much-anticipated event will take place on 21 June 2025, at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas, promising a full-day experience that immerses fans in the vibrant world of K-pop and Korean culture.
Designed as a celebration for K-pop enthusiasts, the event features fan booths, interactive activities, and K-variety show-inspired games where attendees can win exclusive merchandise. One of the highlights includes the KPOP Cover Dance Festival (KCDF) in the Philippines, where dance cover finalists will compete for a chance to represent the country in Korea.
The competition, known for showcasing high-caliber performances, is expected to draw large crowds and spirited support from local fanbases. The winning group will fly to South Korea to battle it out with other top cover dancers from around the world.
Also taking center stage are the graduates of the 2025 K-POP Academy, a three-month intensive dance training program hosted by KCC. Their culminating performance will showcase the transformation of passionate amateurs into polished performers.
In addition to the performances, KCOPA will host a booth with games aimed at raising awareness about copyright issues, particularly in the age of digital fan content and media sharing.
