A 66-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening his 18-year-old stepgranddaughter at gunpoint after she refused his demand to sleep with him in Pililla, Rizal, on Saturday evening.

Initial investigation revealed that the suspect, known by the alias "Enteng," was drunk when he summoned the victim, identified only as Shane, to his house. While she was inside, he allegedly offered her P2,000 in exchange for sleeping in his room.

When she refused, the suspect reportedly pulled out a handgun from his waist, pointed it at her, and threatened to kill her if she reported the incident to her mother.

Shane informed her mother about the ordeal, prompting her to seek help from the Pililla Municipal Police Station. Police operatives immediately accompanied the victim to the suspect’s location, leading to his arrest.

The suspect is now detained at the Pililla police custodial facility. Authorities are preparing the necessary documents for the filing of criminal charges.

He will face charges for Grave Threats under Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code, and violations of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, in relation to the Omnibus Election Code (Batas Pambansa Blg. 881).
