BYD Cars Philippines is moving full speed ahead in bringing electric mobility closer to Filipino motorists with the opening of six new dealerships.

These are located in Bacoor, Sta. Rosa, Subic, and several areas in Cebu, strategically chosen to serve high-growth regions and widen access to electric vehicles, charging stations, and reliable after-sales service.

“The steady expansion of BYD’s dealership network highlights our commitment to making New Energy Vehicles more accessible to Filipinos,” said Bob Palanca, managing director of BYD Cars Philippines. “With ACMobility’s nationwide EV charging network supporting us, we are well-positioned to deliver the benefits of sustainable mobility to more communities.”

In Luzon, the new sites include BYD Bacoor, BYD Sta. Rosa and BYD Subic. BYD Bacoor, operated by Iconic Dealership Inc., features a 6-car showroom with a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) display, a café-style lounge for customers, 10 service bays, five EV chargers, and 20 parking spaces. It’s also Iconic’s fourth BYD outlet.

Further south, BYD Sta. Rosa aims to serve the CALABARZON area with a larger 10-car showroom, eight service bays, and a customer lounge. The dealership also runs three 30kW DC fast chargers and four 7kW AC chargers to accommodate a range of EV charging needs.

Over in Zambales, BYD Subic operates under Harmony Auto Group Philippines and covers 1,754 square meters. It includes a 9-car showroom, LED display panels, a VIP room for clients, six service bays, and five 7kW AC chargers. A 30kW DC charger is also set to be operational soon.

In Cebu, BYD Cebu Central takes the spotlight as the biggest BYD dealership in the country so far. With a total area of 7,246 square meters, it houses a 12-car showroom, 14 service bays, a dedicated BYD Café, and even shuttle services for customers. A full floor is reserved for body repair and paint services. It also supports ACMobility’s Charge Forward initiative, which targets the deployment of over 700 EV charging points nationwide by 2025. At present, Cebu Central is equipped with three 7kW AC chargers and one 30kW DC charger.

Two more locations in Cebu, BYD Ayala Cebu and BYD Il Corso, add to the growing network. Both feature display areas and public charging options. Ayala Cebu has two 22kW AC chargers, while Il Corso provides four 7kW AC chargers. A 30kW DC charger is also expected soon at Il Corso.

Construction has also begun on BYD Cebu South, which will cover the southern part of the island and improve EV access throughout Central Visayas.

“These new facilities are part of a much larger plan,” said Adam Hu, country head of BYD Philippines. “By 2025, we will launch 77 showrooms and service centers nationwide, working alongside ACMobility to strengthen our leadership in sustainable transport.”

With these additions, BYD and ACMobility are gradually shaping a nationwide ecosystem that supports electric vehicle ownership not just through sales, but with the right infrastructure and dependable service to match.
