Enchanted Kingdom will temporarily close two of its flagship rides — Space Shuttle and AGILA The EKsperience — from 1 July to 30 September, as part of major enhancements ahead of the park’s 30th anniversary celebration in October.
Cesar Mario O. Mamon, Enchanted Kingdom President and Chairman, said the improvements are part of the park’s ongoing revitalization efforts.
“Beyond our steadfast pursuit of introducing new enchanting experiences, we are also dedicated to reimagining and reengineering our existing attractions, ensuring that multi-generational guests will be forever enchanted this 2025 and the years to come,” he said.
The Space Shuttle, one of the park’s original legacy rides since its 1995 opening, will undergo operational upgrades, including a new loading and unloading experience and improved efficiency in ride monitoring.
AGILA The EKsperience, the first and only flying theater in the Philippines, has served more than half a million students annually. It offers an immersive journey over iconic destinations in the Philippines from the perspective of the Philippine eagle. The updated attraction will emphasize environmental responsibility and sustainability.
The reopening of both attractions is scheduled for October as part of the park’s milestone celebration.
In preparation for its 30th anniversary on 18 and 19 October, Enchanted Kingdom is also working to restore and enhance other themed areas, rides, and facilities.
Despite the temporary closures, the park remains open with over 30 attractions, including EKlipse, a new family thrill ride and the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Additional events and offerings are planned in the coming months.
