F4 to reunite in 2026

Oh baby, baby, baby. My baby, baby!

The original kings of Asian pop are coming back to steal hearts all over again.

F4, the legendary Taiwanese boy group who rose to fame with Meteor Garden, is reportedly reuniting for a concert in 2026 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut.

According to an exclusive report from Taiwan’s Mirror Media on June 4, the four members — Jerry Yan (48), Vic Chou (43), Ken Chu (46), and Van Ness Wu (46) — have officially agreed to reunite. The comeback is being orchestrated by B’in Music, the same label behind Energy’s wildly successful return in 2024.

F4 first shot to stardom in 2001 when they played the unforgettable Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, and Mei Zuo in Meteor Garden, a show that defined a generation. Their popularity exploded, leading them to form a real-life boy band and drop hit albums that featured songs like “Meteor Rain,” “Can't Lose You,” and “You’re the Only One” — tracks that still trigger major secondhand kilig and nostalgia.

Their debut album Meteor Rain and follow-up hits solidified their status as Mandopop icons, and they quickly became household names across Asia. Despite being rebranded as JVKV due to copyright issues, fans have always known them as F4 — and that name still holds power.

The group officially disbanded in 2009, only reuniting once for a performance at Jiangsu Television’s Spring Festival Gala in 2013. Since then, the members have taken different paths: Jerry Yan continued acting and making occasional variety show appearances, Vic Chou pursued a successful acting career (with his latest project, The World Between Us: After The Flames, dropping in 2025), Van Ness Wu thrived in commercial and variety show circuits, while Ken Chu ventured into live-stream selling.

But the wait might finally be over. Mirror Media reports that B’in Music — known for pulling off impossible reunions — sees F4 as a major comeback ticket and has been working behind the scenes to make it happen. With their massive fanbase still going strong, the reunion isn’t just about one night: an Asia-wide concert tour is reportedly in the works, with Taiwan and China as primary stops.

Whether you're Team Dao Ming Si or Team Hua Ze Lei, dust off your old CDs and start streaming “Meteor Rain” again — the OG F4 is officially on their way back.
