The Philippine national women's football team fell to Chinese Taipei, 0-1, in their friendly match at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium Tuesday evening.

Saki Matsunaga was the lone scorer of the game after scoring a tap-in goal in the 28th minute for the Taiwanese.

Veterans Sarina Bolden, Quinley Quezada, and Katrina Guillou were absent in this match due to injuries.

The Filipinas are using this match as a build-up for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in Cambodia starting on 29 June.
