Jake Ejercito and Andi Eigenmann draw the line — especially when it comes to the safety and dignity of their 13-year-old daughter, Ellie.
Over the weekend, the two parents took to social media to publicly denounce content creator Crist Briand, who recorded and posted a video of Ellie without her consent—or that of her parents. The video quickly drew backlash not only for the ambush-style filming but also for the disturbing and inappropriate comments it attracted, prompting Jake and Andi to speak out with urgency and resolve.
In a strongly worded post, Jake Ejercito made it clear that what happened was a violation of privacy — and not just of any individual, but of a minor.
“This ‘influencer’ filmed Ellie without her consent. She did not want to be in his video — let alone be posted by him,” Jake wrote.
“Clout-chasing should never come at the cost of someone’s privacy, especially a minor’s.”
The video, originally posted by Crist Briand, showed Ellie caught unaware. Jake emphasized that the act was not only irresponsible but potentially harmful — especially given Ellie’s age and her status as the child of public figures.
In a follow-up post, Jake confirmed that the video had already been taken down, but said the damage had been done. He urged followers to report the content creator’s page, calling him an “irresponsible clout chaser.”
“Please continue reporting the page… I’m now in the process of exploring legal options,” he shared on his Instagram Story.
His call reflects growing concern among parents, celebrities, and digital rights advocates about content creators who cross boundaries in pursuit of views — often at the expense of privacy and consent.
Adding her voice to the protest, Andi Eigenmann, Ellie’s mother, shared her own frustration and anger.
Describing the incident as both “disrespectful” and “exploitative,” Andi condemned the use of her daughter for content, especially since it exposed Ellie to inappropriate online harassment in the video’s comment section.
“Don’t use our daughter for clout,” Andi declared.
As a mother who stepped back from showbiz to raise her children in relative privacy, Andi’s reaction underscored the deep violation that comes with unauthorized exposure — particularly of a young girl who never agreed to be filmed.
