At just 15, Alfonsi Daquigan is already carving out a name for himself in international racing. Representing the Honda Philippines Junior Talent Team under Honda Asia Dream Racing, Rider No. 51 recently hit the track in the European Talent Cup (ETC), a proving ground for the world’s next big stars. Alfonsi is racing for every Filipino kid who ever dreamed of going full throttle on the global stage.

From local races to European circuits, Alfonsi’s rise is a story of grit and belief. His ETC debut proves that with focus, discipline, and the right support, Filipino talent can compete with the best. Every lap he takes is not just for himself, but for an entire nation cheering him on.

Showcasing his skills through the smooth cornering, intelligent overtakes, and the composure of a seasoned professional, despite going head-to-head with Asia and Europe’s fiercest 55 junior competitors. In his debut performance, Daquigan qualified for the grid in 19th position. He finished 20th in Race 1, then followed it up with a solid improvement to 11th place in Race 2, and finished 17th in overall standing for the first time.

“This journey isn’t just mine — it belongs to every Filipino rider who dreams big,” shares Alfonsi. “I’m here because of years of hard work, sacrifice, and the support of my family, coaches, and Honda. I’m racing to make my country proud.”
