JBL brings music to life

Stepping into a Quezon City nightclub during JBL’s immersive event, one thing became clear: Their speakers don’t just play music — they bring it to life. With crisp, powerful sound cutting through the crowd’s cheers and the deep bass resonating through the room, JBL demonstrated how its technology elevates the listening experience.

The event featured performances by Jackie Gonzaga and Michael Sager, with music pulsing from every corner. Despite the noise of the crowd, the audio remained sharp — a testament to JBL’s ability to deliver clarity even in loud environments.

At the heart of the experience was JBL Pro Sound, combining immersive audio with deep, punchy bass. The brand’s AI Sound Boost dynamically adjusts playback to suit the environment, whether in a packed venue or a quiet living room. Meanwhile, Auracast allows seamless multi-speaker connectivity, creating a surround-sound effect that makes it feel like the artist is right beside you.

“We’re redefining music,” said Grace Koh, general manager and vice president for Consumer Audio at Harman Asia Pacific. “We listen to what consumers need — and anticipate what they’ll want next.”

JBL showcased a range of speakers designed for different lifestyles: Horizon 3 — A Bluetooth clock radio with customizable soundscapes for music and sleep; Flip 7 — A rugged, portable speaker with 16-hour battery life and a racetrack subwoofer for bold sound on the go; and Charge 6 — A durable, waterproof speaker with 28-hour playback and a built-in power bank.

Then there’s the PartyBox Series, including the Encore 2, Essential 2, and 520, these speakers feature dynamic lighting, karaoke inputs, and even swappable batteries for nonstop entertainment.

“Our speakers are engineered to fill every corner of the room,” said Megan Lee, director of Product Planning and Strategy for Harman Asia Pacific. And in that packed club, the sound did just that — wrapping around the crowd with precision and power.

Whether for personal listening or full-scale parties, JBL’s lineup ensures music isn’t just heard — it’s felt.
