COMELEC gears up for the Barangay and SK elections

Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman George Erwin Garcia updates members of the media in a Manila forum on Thursday, 29 May. According to Garcia, the application for registration of voters for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections will run from 1 to 11 July 2025. At least 1.2 million Filipinos, ages 15 to 18, are expected to register.
